Will Pike be mentioned in Star Trek XI

I am just wondering if they will mention Capt. Pike in this film, and what his role in it will be, I mean Spock was under Pike's command when he was younger, are they just gonna forget this part of Star Trek Cannon or what, anyone know the answer to this?

Not only will he be mentioned, he's in it played by Bruce Greenwood.

Star Trek isn't coming out until May 9th, 2009.

They should Pike in the movie, he was an important character in the early history of Trek.
