A l t e r E g o 9 Posted August 7, 2007 What is U-Verse. The salesmen came by yesterday and I almost singed on the spot but choose instead to research the service more before committing. We could save almost $80 a month on the same internet/cable/phone package we currently get from Cox while simultaneously upgrading our other two cable connections to include all the same channels as the primary cable box receives. Very tempting. However, their internet service only gives 6.0 Mbps max compared to the 100 Mbps we currently enjoy. That seems quite a reduction in Mbps, I do not think I could live with such a slow internet connection. Any advice you have to give to help me decide is appreciated.
