MrPsychic 1 Posted April 22, 2007 I was looking through some NHL info when I came across this: http://www.usatoday.com/sports/hockey/nhl/...-blue-ice_x.htm Evidentally, they were going to use blue ice to help casual viewers keep track of the puck during the game and TV broadcast, during AHL games in NHL venues. This was started in Buffalo, where it only lasted two games. Lady Britannia 0 Posted April 22, 2007 Put a little light in the puck so it shines brightly as it slides across the ice.
Odie 0 Posted April 22, 2007 The article is two years old. As you can see by the picture it has the second logo. Since they use this ugly slug for the new one. I hope the logo changes soon. IMO I do not need guild to show where the puck is in the rink. I watched the last game and ice was white not blue.
