star_rose 0 Posted April 11, 2007 I saw for the first time Shatner and Nimoy last year during the Las Vegas convention. It was fantastic to see how many fans of all the ages did photos and did the queue for an autograph! I thought that the love for the original series was disappeared, but indeed it is still very strong among the fans from all the Earth. It was a beautiful sensation, it looked to be in an enormous family, the family of Starfleet, with fans in different costumes of all the races and of all the series. trekz 7 Posted April 12, 2007 I totally agree with you about the family of fans who showed up in Las Vegas last year, 13,000 strong, from across the globe. Shatner and Nimoy together were priceline, I mean priceless! They were indeed amazing together, so much so that I went to see them in Chicago, which was a different less wild experience. Several STF.net members were in Vegas last year and several of us plan to go out again this year for the 20th anniversary of TNG. It's great to discover that other members were also there!
