star_rose 0 Posted April 11, 2007 I think that Berman didn't understand that it was a shock for all the fans of Data to see his death. He didn't understand the crucial position of this character in the entire system of Next Generation, although I know that it was the same Brent who was bored and who wanted to change completely his life, but I am totally persuaded that it was a real disaster. Indeed, the director wasn't right : the scenes were too long and the primitive sense of humour totally disappeared. There was a strange atmosfere in this movie - too dark , without a sense of hope, but with a sense of resignation. I am happy that the people didn't appreciate this horrible movie- at least, the fans protested angry against this.
