TransporterMalfunction 1 Posted August 13, 2003 I've been having a few problems with my computer. Earlier today I was running Dreamweaver, Photoshop and AOL, but after a while AOL told me that there was not enough space to run it, this is odd because I don't have much on my hard drive. Anyway, I was wondering if any of you might be able to help, I was thinking of defraging the hard drive but am not sure if it is the right course of action. To put you in the picture here are some details: Local Disk: Free Space - 23,913,889,792 bytes, Used Space - 6,084,968,448 bytes System Properties: System Resources - 23% Free Memory = 128.0 MB of RAM I would be grateful for any help. Thanks.

What system are you running 98 or XP? I am running 98. I thought that the memory seemed quite low but I cannnot understand why as over the past few weeks I have actually been deleting several unwanted/old files (mostly text files, about 10 word documents and 30 jpegs). I recent weeks I have also started designing a website for my parents who are starting a new company, but this only takes up 2.47 MB. Thanks for your responce VaBeachGuy
LouiseTrek 0 Posted August 14, 2003 It's your RAM that's your problem, not the hard drive memory that your thinking of. You were running too much stuff at the same time and your computer couldn't keep up.
