Pupils 'need first aid training'

All children should learn basic first aid - such as dealing with choking, bleeding and shock - at school, the British Red Cross says

 

I took first aid in 2003 and again in 2004, I've used it a few times, is very handy, but kids will (I'm trying to say a bad word but can't) about..

I didn't receive any first-aid training in school until 7th grade.

 

With the increased violence in schools these days, this may not be a bad idea.

Violence is a bad as ever, which there has always been alot of, the more stories in the media than ever, so we think it's worse.
