LA Con IV is planning some special festities to celebrate Star Trek's 40th anniversary. Trek alumni scheduled to appear so far include Walter Koenig (Chekov, TOS), BarBara Luna (Lt. Marlena Moreau in TOS episode Mirror, Mirror), Marina Sirtis (Deanna Troi, TNG), Richard Herd (Admiral Owen Paris, VOY and L'Kor in TNG episodes Birthright, Part I and II), Andrew Robinson (Garak, DS9) and Suzie Plakson (Dr. Selar in the TNG episode The Schizoid Man, K'Ehleyr in the TNG episodes The Emissary and Reunioin, female Q in VOY episode The Q and the Grey and Tarah in the ENT episode Cease Fire). Robert Picardo (the Doctor, VOY), Chase Masterson (Leeta, DS9) and J.G. Herzler (Martok, DS9) and Rick Sternbach (production illustrator/designer on TNG, DS9 and VOY) have been added to the guest list. Beside these additions and the guests previously listed Mike Okuda, Ronald B. Moore, DC Fontana, David Gerrold, and Robert Sabaroff will be taking part as well.
