Jack_Bauer 1 Posted December 1, 2005 WOW! The Boston Bruins have traded their captain, and arguably one of the best players in the game to San Jose for Marco Sturm, Brad Stuart, and Wayne Primeau. This is absolutely huge news in the NHL, no one really saw it coming from what I can tell but the three former Sharks were all scratches so that was an indication of the brewing trade. Boston has been struggling this year, but this is a pretty drastic move and I don't think it will work out for the Bruins in the long run. Takara_Soong 4 Posted December 1, 2005 I'm shocked. Stranger things have happened with players blossoming after being traded (Brett Hull comes to mind) but I can't see the Bruins winning this one in the long or short run.
VaBeachGuy 12 Posted December 4, 2005 I keep forgetting that Hockey is still around, there's never anything on the news or in the paper about them. Is their season still going on?
MrPsychic 1 Posted December 4, 2005 Being a Penguin fan, my ears perked up at the mention of Wayne Primeau, a former Penguin, all teams are just full of former Penguins
