Where they can learn to spell B) unlike me. Williamsport Penn. tip your hat to them. APW 0 Posted August 27, 2005 I love the Little League World Series. I watch it every year. I missed most of the game between Curacao and Guam. But I watched California beat Florida (I was cheering for California, but felt terrible for those kids from Florida...especially when most of them started crying after the final out) B) I also watched Hawaii-Louisiana,and assorted other international games. Whenever I have the time,I'm watching it. The professionals could learn a lot from these kids.Might do their overblown egos some good.
Itchygomba69 0 Posted August 27, 2005 I feel ESPN goes a little overboard on the coverage, these are kids 1st and formost, not Major league Players

A l t e r E g o 9 Posted August 27, 2005 I dislike most aspects of MLB but LL is fun to watch. I've followed as many of the the televised games as I could. Vista CA. has been my favorite from the start but it appears their reign may end today against Hawaii. Bottom of the 5th and Hawaii just went up 6 to 1 B)
Itchygomba69 0 Posted August 28, 2005 Chill dw they come here knowing they will be seen to some its there time. would you denie them? 348999[/snapback] No but the exposure makes the parents and Coaches insane, Remember a few years ago the kid that lied about his age, the exposure isnt bad for the kids, but the insane sport dads is who its bad for
APW 0 Posted August 28, 2005 I liked the way former major leaguer Dante Bichette congratulated his son (pitched for Florida) and gave him a big grin and a thumbs up,after the poor kid left the game, knowing his team was going to loose. That was awesome. I guess I'll be cheering for Hawai'i. My boys from California lost.So did Louisiana (I wanted to see a CA-LA U.S. final).
