APW 0 Posted August 26, 2005 (edited) Amber Alert Issued for 12 Year Old North Carolina Girl Posted: Friday August 26, 2005 3:49 PM CT The Rocky Mount North Carolina Police Department has activated tha Amber Alert after the girl was reported missing on Friday morning. Authorities say Jodie Collie was discovered missing from her home Friday at about 6:50 a.m. Authorities suspect that she was abducted by a registered sex offender. Jodie Renee Collieis described as a white female, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 114 pounds. Authorities say the girl has blonde hair and green eyes. Police say the abductor, Phillip Daniel Denkler , 27, is a registered sex offender. He is described as a white male with straight, short, black hair and brown eyes. The two were last seen in a beige 2005 Hyundai Sonata with North Carolina license plate number NMN-2630. anyone who has information about this case is asked to call the Rocky Mount Police Department at (252) 972-1411 or 911. Just thought I'd give a heads-up to STFers in the North Carolina area. God,I hope and Pray this little girl is found safe and unharmed. APW 0 Posted September 1, 2005 (edited) The Rocky Mount North Carolina Police Department has canceled the Amber Alert on Tuesday August 30, 2005 after the girl was found safe in Demoin, Iowa at a Greyhound bus station. The suspect is still at large at this time. I'm glad they found this little girl alive. Now,they need to catch this pervert and throw him in jail....for a long time.
