master_q 0 Posted March 27, 2003 The press covering the war with Iraq It is amazing that coverage that we are getting in this war. If you turn on the TV much of it is live. In the last war there was nothing like this and I think it shows that Bush really wants to show the world that we are not here to take over Iraq, but liberate the people and that we are playing (please excuse that term) fare. Of course when watching it, it can get scary at times (for anyone), but I think it is a good thing we are doing in this war to get this much coverage of it. But one thing that I would caution people is that when I watch it I think to myself that this is not an overall picture of what is going on. I think people have to be aware of that. We are just getting micro views on one little thing (well sorry it is really things). It is kind of like talking a microscope and looking at a painting. We only see parts of it, but not the whole picture. I think it is the same here. What do you think about this? What do you think about the lots of coverage from the press?
