HRH The KING 0 Posted June 1, 2005 (edited) Didn't like this one. I've never accepted this idea that Tasha Yar's homeplanet descended so deeply into anarchy. A "failed" colony? Dudes, please give me a break. If that colony with it's civil war and rape gangs (WTF?) were causing so much trouble on that planet, I just don't believe that the Federation President wouldn't have sent a small fleet of ships to evacuate the civilians and send in wave after wave of Starfleet Marines to frickin waste everyone causing trouble in that colony, or maybe arrest and try them if you favour that approach. The idea that the Federation would allow an M class world to be wasted on such a colony or even that they would permit such behaviour to persist on one of their planets if total b*lls. Absolute crap. Rating = 0. Now if it had an angry Federation President, a small fleet of starships, and Starfleet Marines wasting people and taking out this p*ss poor planet, then it would have got a 5. GhostofMajorHayes 10 Posted December 23, 2007 I gave it a 1. The entire setting was unrealistic of a Federation world and jsut didn't mesh too well with me.
youbroughtheryouRiker 2 Posted December 28, 2007 For the first time ever, I rate a Star Trek episode a 1. This episode was so implausible, it should be stricken from canon, despite how much it agrees with what we learn from Tasha. And the acting was in the pits too. Just a pathetic episode.
