Nightmare

I don't normally like putting dreams I have out there for others to read...but this one freaked me out last night. See if I can remember it...

 

I was on some dark beach or something, either dawn or dusk, but the sky was all dark blue. I was in a rocky cove with cliffs and such, and saw these too twins, could have sworn they were farmiliar to me. Reminded me of the Shining twins, but anywho, they did something when I saw them that took control of me in a very creepy way, almost like posession or something. When I got away from them, and the posession ended, no one believed me, but I noticed people were starting to act very weird. I noticed much later in the dream that the twins were taking control of others. Before I knew it, it was like a bad rehash of Invasion of the Body Snatchers. We were all leaving this beach, and I had to make sure everyone left. We thought the twins were gone and everyone was fine, but I found my aunt and uncle on the beach being taken over by them.

 

Very hard to describe. I'll try to get a picture or something that will describe it easier, but it creeped me out a bunch. Any ideas what all this means? (if you buy into dream interpretation, which I rarely do...)

Did you have the TV on while you were sleeping? The other day I had a dream about there being something wrong with the warp core. I woke up to an episode of TNG. I was dreaming my own version with the epsiode dialogue.

When I watch t.v I fall asleep by it ("have a sleep timer on")most of the time but i usually don't think I have nightmares from what i was watching on t.v though

Do you have a situation in your life in which you feel the people around you are changing, and you have no control over it?

 

Or, are you changing and it's making you feel like you don't fit into your own little world anymore.

Holy crap -- nail on head... lol. I totally feel like I'm changing without having any control over it. :-)

 

I usually fall asleep to old Trek eps on my computer -- DS9 season 2 and 4 usually knock me out since I've see all the episodes.

oh yea, i leave the TV on sometimes when i sleep, and i end up having weird dreams. like there was this one where i was watching JLU, and then i dreamed something about Wally West and Lana Lang.....oh well. Nightmares stink, and it stinks to sleep when the TV is on.

I had a dream that I died, and saw everyone greiving over me and how upset my girlfriend was in iti woke up with tears

 

I have this dream alot at least once a month

you can't dream that you died. you dream about what happens after you die, but you can't die in your dream. you would really be dead. things that show up in your dreams are things you've seen or heard, and personal experiences.

no thats just a urban legend.....Alana went to school to be a psycholgist and they did a whole study on dreams and that was in there, I dream of my death alot, from falling mostly
