Jack_Bauer 1 Posted January 8, 2005 I'd thought I'd bring this to everyone's attention, just in case no one has seen this yet. Here's the article from Treknation: Every member of the original cast of Star Trek has been honoured with a star on Hollywood Boulevard's Walk of Fame except for one, and now fans are uniting to see that he receives one. The Quest for Walter's Star is running a drive to help raised the required funds for Walter Koenig's star. Fans can donate between $10 and $1000 and receive various keepsakes, including a limited edition lithograph, an autographed photo of the Chekov actor and an invitation to the ceremony and party when Koenig eventually receives his star. In addition to his role as Chekov, Koenig is well-known to science fiction fans for his role as the villainous Bester on Babylon 5. He has appeared in dozens of films, television shows and plays in his career. Planet Xpo, which is sponsoring the drive, is accepting credit card donations online or by phone, while checks can be mailed to their office in Florida. Any money raised in excess of the necessary amount to purchase the star and cover the fundraising costs will be donated to Children of the Night, a charity to assist young people forced into prostitution. MrPsychic 1 Posted January 12, 2005 How many people that were main stars in Star Trek have a star anyway?
Jack_Bauer 1 Posted January 12, 2005 Koenig is currently the only star from the original Star Trek to not have a star.
