Personal Logs, Stardate 12.04.05:

 

I was on my way to the bathroom this morning when the phone rang. I answered it in a sleepy voice, expecting it to be my grandmother wanting to know when we were going to be done with her vase. However, the voice on the other line was not my grandmother's. It was raspy, and it screeched! I didn't know what to make of it at first, but then I understood. It was Species 8472! Yes, the 8472 leader was calling me to ask if I had a cup of sugar he could borrow. Naturally, I said yes. But it was still strange. I guess that's what's gonna happen if you live on a Starbase in the Delta Quadrant!!!
