Favorite literary/theatrical mistakes

Basically, what is you favorite mistake you've seen in a book or a movie? By mistake, I mean something the occurs in a plot that contradicts something that already happened, or something that just makes you say "Hey, waitaminute... WHAT?!"

 

My favorite mistake is in Robinson Crusoe. Basically, Crusoe is on the beach, looking out at the wrecked ship that stranded him on the island. Needing supplies, he decideds to go to the ship and salvage whatever he can. Now here's the mistake... He takes off ALL his clothes (so now he's stark naked), swims out to the wrecked ship, and FILLS HIS POCKETS with whatever he can grab!

 

Pockets? I'm not sure I even want to know what pockets he has when he's naked!
