Best female Star Trek character.

Usually my favorite characters are the ones I feel are the strongest in plot, acting, and personality. IMO, the strongest female characters in Trek were Seven and Janeway. My top ten:

2- Kathryn Janeway

3- Guinan

4- B'Elanna Torres

5- Colonel Kira

6- Kate Pulaski

7- Dr. Crusher

8- Counselor Troi

9- Lt. Uhura

10- Hoshi Sato

I vote for Uhura.

 

She may have only had limited opportunities on screen,but she made the most of them,and her mere presence on the cast of TOS made a HUGE impact in television.

That character made such a difference in so many sci-fi fans lives (and not just the female or african-american fans),that I'd be willing to say that Nichelle made a bigger impression on the Trek fandom than any other female character in the franchise's fabled history.

 

Uhura was more than just T&A packed into a catsuit.
