Remaking "War of the Worlds"...

Just as I was watching the 1954 movie of "Gojira" (also known as: "Godzilla") on AMC....

 

A commercial stated that in the year 2006 A.D.,

Steven Spieldberg will be remaking the 1953 movie of "War of the Worlds".

I too have heard this, and it's going to star Tom Cruise. I havn't seen the original, but I heard that a ton of money is going into the production. I hope it's worth it, and a good film.
