Since I just finished rewatching a terrific 1951 movie entitled: "The Day The Earth Stood Still"...

 

I'd like to ask, what would happen now if Klaatu landed his flying saucer in Washington, D.C. today?

Klaatu would probably be taken into custody and interrogated for violating restricted airspace, and Gort would most likely be given to the military to figure out the technology. :unsure:

I'll bet the military will have one very hard time trying to capture Gort...
