The Best TV Shows That Never Were

For those of you who didn't see this ABC special about unsold TV pilots, there were at least four clips that were Trek related.

 

1) "The Infiltrator" with Scott Bakula, who actually said the line "Beam me up, Scotty." I swear. If he only knew then...

 

2) TV-movie "The Little People" (1970) with William Shatner, who said in a very Kirk-like manner "Think of the possibilities." Note: he played a country doctor; wonder if he asked De for any advice, heh heh.

 

3) TOS "Assignment: Earth". They speeded up the film when Gary Seven used his transporter. Guess the SFX ran too long. Blooper: at the end there's a two-shot of Kirk and Spock, and they FLOPPED the image! Oops.

 

4) TV-movie "The Questor Tapes", Gene's unsold pilot about an android trying to learn the human condition. Data wouldn't arrive until years later.
