Starlancer/ Freelancer

Ok, I played both of these. in the intro of the second game you find out that the Coaltion won the War. Since you played as the Alliance in teh first, doesn't that make everything you did in the first game irrelevent?

 

OR

 

Are they going to make a third game when you go back to the first game era and continue from where the second game intro ended?

I've played freelancer but not starlancer however arnt they 2 seprate games made by diffrent people so could it be that they have to diffrent prospectives and dont join together. Hope this made sense.

Not likely becasue things from the first game (Starlancer) were specifically shown in the intro to Freelancer.

 

Anyway, my brother just pointed out to me that the intro said the Coalition only gains the upper hand, so there is nothing definite to the end of the conflict.

 

Sounds like a good idea for a third game!
