barry 0 Posted August 21, 2004 I play alot of snooker love the sport,I'm captain of my local snooker team and we play matches in a league every tuesday. I'm not too bad my highest break is 72 but havn't been near it since i got the break about 4 years ago. My favourite player is Jimmy White it's a pity he has never won the world championship, glad to find someone else who is a snooker fan.

barry 0 Posted August 24, 2004 I've never even heard of it. Could you explain how it's played. 254171[/snapback] You start off with 15 reds in a triangle then behind them there is the black and in front is the pink then the blue, then at the top of the table you have the green, brown and yellow. The object of the game is useing the white ball you pot a red then a colour then a red and another colour and so on to build a break (score),each red ball you pot is worth 1pt,the yellow 2pt the green 3pt the brown 4pt the blue 5pt the pink 6pt and the black ball worth 7pt. The winner is the person who scores the most points. The best way to understand the game is to watch it on the tv and you can listen to the commentators as they talk their way through the game. Hope this helps.
