Isabel "weezy" Sanford

Isabel Sanford, who is best known for playing "Weezy" Jefferson, passed away Friday. She was the first African- American woman to win an Emmy for Best Actress in a comedy. She was also in "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" (a great movie, go see it).

I'm watching that story on the news right now. That's sad to hear; she seemed like a wonderful lady.

No, remember, she was on those Old Navy commercials with Sherman Helmsley until very recently.
