starsinmyeyes 0 Posted October 29, 2004 (edited) Yes. I have geekish tendencies. See Geek test thread. Play Scattergories, Scrabble, Pictionary. Sort of like Trivial Pursuit. Would even like to try Gaming board games one day just to see what Tthey are like. But...Canasta (card game) is much better than any board game. Question: What would be your favourite famous painting or picture? Mine is John Everett Millais' Ophelia - Pre-Raphaelite Painter. Odo 0 Posted April 9, 2005 Yes i am have watched since 1966. A true trekkie not yet but getting there. When did you discover trek?
KIMIMELA 1 Posted April 9, 2005 Ever since I have been able to walk I have danced to "Star Trekkin" at children's Discos when we went abroad. I took home a tape with it on and I played it over and over again . I never knew that it was really on about, it confused me. When I visited my Auntie's my cousin used to always be watching TNG :bored: :bored: but the adults used to always turn it down and talk so I used to sit and watch the pictures til we left. I looked out for it and found it on Sky One two years ago. I decided to research Google and collected 1.1 to 1.7 TNG videos and DVDs and stuff. I researched around and that's how I managed to find this site. My cousin knows I like Star Trek now we planned to go to this year's convention but the price was...WO... there was no chance! How did you discover it?
Odo 0 Posted April 9, 2005 (edited) You got the addiction go with it? Edited April 9, 2005 by Odo
KIMIMELA 1 Posted April 9, 2005 If I'm not talking about it I'm usually watching it. I never watch it on TV because my parent's or brother is usually watching something else so I have to watch my handful of vidoes. I am honestly getting tired of them because I watch them over and over and over and over again it's nice to have a variation with other episodes, right? Yes, I am getting addicted a bit. I made up a dance to Star Trekkin' everyone used to do it at school but I think now they were laughing at me rather than with me . I carried pictures in my planner all the time and I even taught someone a bit of klingonese! My teacher likes it too so when everyone was working he (I often sat at the front cuz of my hearing) chatted to me about star trek .... Do you have any funny childhood memories? (S...Share it)
