gonna have to say I agree with Roguedawg. No sense with kicking a dead dog, and continuing to repeat ourselves..what the heck, one more time..Stewarts done, Spiners old and who knows about the rest of the cast..Obviously I, like thers would enjoy another Flic..but I'd rather see DS9 with Janeway thrown in with some TNG Cameos to give it a start..but we can speculate till we're blue in the face and Cjlp flipes his vote again, it comes down to how Paramount thinks they can make larger bucks on..Personally I think a TV Movie would be a good idea, but thats me.

"Captain Bolivar to crew"

Most of us know that B&B don't really want to do anything with Voyager in the Alpha quadrant, but they could always make a movie that involved a new Voyager equipped with a prototype slipstream. Thus they'd still get to play a role in the Delta quad. So I think making one Voyager movie would be cool cause at least we'd get to find out how life back home turned out for the crew. But if they do make a Voyager movie, which I doubt they will in the near future, I think they should include TNG cast in some way. Surely some of the Voyager crew will be on earth, which will be a good excuse for a run in with Beverly at Starfleet medical. Also, Voyager A's maiden voyage could include an escort by the Enterprise or Riker's ship the Titan until they go to slipstream velocity. Well, that's what I'd do with another Trek movie.

"Bolivar to Enterprise. One to beam up. "

I dont' think that DS9 could work because Ds9's arcing plot was very in depth. To do justice to it in a movie would be difficult in 2 hours and would be self defeating to the movie because those who didn't follow DS9 completely would not understand the complexities. This means that the movie would have to be "dumbed down" to a broader audience and this would undoubtedly destroy the worth of making a DS9 movie. I say, leave DS9 as it is, or make a spin off television show.

Bolivar Out.

That's an interesting idea. How about Riker's new ship having some minor characters from TNG promoted to senior positions?Characters like Sonya Gomez,Sam Lavelle,or B.G. Robinson?

I disagree, I think the Arcing storyline makes for a perfect fit in movies. A story can be developed that wasn't used in the TV arcs. Something that wouldn't require new viewers to be brought up to speed. But the arcing format would lend itself to future DS9 movies. Besides, a brief introduction sceen could be done explaining what happened in the final episode. Similar to how Episode 1 explained what happened at Wolf 359.

But to answer the question of who I want in the next movie. There is one person' I would LOVE to see in the next movie above all others.

Every one except Data, his positronic brain has been atomised so thus he is dead but i think Laforge will work with B4 to fill his spot.

:dude::bow: Oh, ok... it is your opinion, after all. however I do not think B4 could ever replace Data. Yes, he has his memories....those are merely the images, but not the experience.

Example: a picture of a child blowing out a birthday cake... you know that feeling and action and everything...why? you have had the experience, the feeling, of doing that. B4 has the images, not the experiences like Data has/had. Data lived almost 42 years, that is a ton of experiences to try and experience for someone so very young(B4). He may be like Data in the end, but no one will ever replace him.

Just my viewpoint....

"there's been no one like him anywhere, anywhere where he is....."-lyrics from "A Heart Full Of Love" from Les Miserables, Eponine sings this. (and this is so true, there is only one Data, as there is only one each of us..)

We should have TNG and DS9 characters (because they're all friends with WORF) and they should form a big happy crew.

We can think of som BS reason why all the non-starfleet crew from DS9 can move to the Enterprise F(or whatever letter we're at now). Then there can a guest appearance by some voyager characters. And VOY can get the movie after that.

I say mix it up a little. TNG, DS9, and VOY are all contemporaries, so let the characters interact.

DS9's crew split-up in the finale. It's likely that the VOY crew split-up after returning to Earth. Data died and Riker & Troi left the Enterprise-E at the end of Nemesis. All 3 TNG-era crews are split up, so I think this would makes way for a mixed-cast movie. However, if it were up to me, Trek 11 would be a VOY movie.

I would have to say use the new frontier novels then you can have guest stars like picard and riker and if you don't think it would make a good movie then maybe a tv movie I would love to see thoes books on the screen small or large.

I voted for a mixed cast. I think the 11th movie should have the Deep Space Nine crew and a few of The Next Generation Cast and a few from the Voyager crew.

This movie if they decide to make it should center mainly around DS9 crew and a few new aliens(hostle and friendly). :)

I think KayTroi's post is a good one,I would agree with that.

A good mix of everyone would be good especially if it happened to be the last movie of Star Trek.

mixed cast!!!

also, i think B4 should get laid! Data should reicarnate, find love, and later run into him. everyone is retired but goes spacesurfing with a young new group of explorers. Troi and Riker should have a Cadet son or daughter on board. etc etc! the list goes on! ;)

I think they should make a Voyager movie because i want to now what happens once they get back to Earth. I now Janeway is now an Admiral but what about the rest of them.

If the 11th movie is TNG I'd only see it out of loyalty to star trek.  I love it but it's been WAY overused.  I vote for mixed cast.

Not really, TOS had 6 movies. However, I agree, it's time to move on to DS9, VOY, mixed cast, or new cast. Preferrably, VOY or mixed cast.

I said mixed cast. Getting the whole TNG or DS9 cast back together might feel forced too, if it isn't handled well. Plus, TNG wouldn't be the same with out Data, even with B4. Admiral Janeway might pull a 'Kirk' on the Voyager and steal it for another mission, but I still think that a mixed cast would be the best way at this point.
