I was wondering about some of your prized series outside the realm of star trek. I'm looking for some good reading... Please list some good ones if you would... We'll call it a game.

a bit more indept, the savior (neo and Paul Mua'dhib) dissapears, presumably dead. At the end of the third matrix, neo appears dead but the oracle sais something about we'll probably be seeing him again, in dune, Paul dissapears into the dessert, only to return as the blind prophet.

Another thing is prescience, and the dependence upon it. The oracle is extremely important to the goals of neo and morpheus, and one of the bene gesserit society's goals is to yield their Qwissatz Haderach, a male reverend mother that happens to have the ability of prescience.

this said, keep them coming, and correct me if I'm wrong. :(

Yeah, my mom just got an IMAC, and it's been hard to adjust from my old Packard Bell Legend 408CD. I'd say the IMAC is a definite upgrade... But give me a pc any day.

Heres a little fun for us all... Try to think of all the similarities between the book/movies of Dune and the Matrix movies.

My first one is the fact that the machines take over... (The entire plot of Matrix, and the reason for the butlerian jihad in Dune)

Okay, this will sound weird, but before you trash my idea and burn it, suppose that

A Light speed travel is possible and

B Faster than light speed is possible as well.

If you were to reach light speed and then break it while traveling in a craft, would there be some kind of light, or even time boom somewhat similiar to the sonic boom created by breaking the sound barrier? If so, what would be the effect? Just wondering...
