I went to the cinema to see this when it came out - my biggest gripe was that a lot of the battle sequences were really badly cut, more like hacked to pieces!! Apparently to get the 12 certificate. Now there's a directors cut available with a 15 certificate on, the battle scenes restored so I'm going to get that to see the difference.

Oddly enough I like this. Didn't expect too but I do. Its just a really nice, sweet sometimes sad show. Beats the hell outta big brother or whatever other reality nonsense theyre showing.............

For anyone in the UK who is interested - Sky One do have the rights to air Season 4 but currently have no plans to air it in the immediate future due to scheduling commitments!!! Go figure! Am ever so slightly fuming.......

Thats a bit pessimistic - the 4th season will be the last! Me. am hoping they go for all 7 seasons like the others. And I get totally fed up with all these people who do nothing but criticise Enterprise too - the early seasons of TNG, DS9 and Voyager were all a bit sluggish but they also improved as they went along. As for a movie I dont know, I wasn't a huge fan of either Generations or Insurrection but First Contact rocked and Nemesis was also good, so who knows maybe the next one in whichever guise it takes will be good too.

I really didn't like the first one so I have to say I won't watch the second one. Straight to DVD doesn't sound very impressive.

Movies that i had been looking forward too seeing -
Van Helsing - seen it, and thought it was the biggest load of rubbish
Dawn of the Dead - for a horror it was highly amusing
Harry Potter - i took my daughter on Monday - It's dissapointing to say the least.
Bright Side - Spiderman 2 - it has to be good, since I have to see one good movie this year.
Oh and Shrek 2 is reasonable, but not as good as the first. They never are. But Spiderman will be. I have to believe that.

I saw it last night and I was really looking forward too it. I didn't like it much, don't get me wrong its not a bad film I just didn't think it was a great film. It was really slow in get started, I was disappionted with the script which was a little too corny for me "i've always wanted to see the sea" don't quite know where that came from. And I really thought the story(what little there was) in general was a little disjointed Thought the effects were OK but I was expecting much better. Dracula was ... well.... annoying not menacing or scary. It did have it funny moments though and Frankenstein Monster was well done and well acted. The ending was a little to contrite for me. I was expecting so much more from the cast, they are all good actors - Kate Beckinsale was really good in Underworld not quite sure what happened in this one, Hugh Jackman was just being Wolverine and I know he's a far better actor than what was on that screen last night. Pity, but as I said not bad but not great.

Jadzia gets my vote - maybe its the spots!

Hopefully going to see Hidalgo soon - it comes out in the UK this week. Last film I went to the theatre to see - Dawn of the Dead, the remake. Here's a hint for anyone tempted - Don't. For a horror movie its the best comedy I've seen in ages and for all the wrong reasons. I should've known better. Ah well, live and learn.

Sorry but I have to go for Garak. Now he was funny.

Despite the fact that my younger cat is the pest from hell I gotta go with cats. They are so much fun to watch.

Hey you know I can't actually say as I had noticed but now its been pointed out I will probably take a closer look. -
I have actually seen some of them and think they are very good, it's a pity they dont run them more often!

I'm really disappointed about this, yes I know there's a lot of trek fans don't much care for it, but I did. And with season four it was just really getting in to the swing of things (all credit to Manny Coto) and I recall one or two of the others took this long to really get going also. I think B&B are partly to blame for this and UPN also. Where they go from here, who knows...........good luck to all the cast, they deserve it.
And never give up hope, it is possible however remote that another network may yet pick it up. if the fans clamour on long enough...........look at what the Farscape fans helped to achieve - they got Peacekeeper Wars, and Joss Whedons Firefly got a movie after only 14 episodes...........
