I too am very dissapointed. I have only seen about 5-6 episodes of DS9 ever and that was because one day i turned it on for a second and heard someone talking about a war so i kept watching(the last season). I tuned in to the last couple episodes, watched those battle and said "hmmm what else have i missed because i havent been watching this?". I was so excited i heard DS9 was gonna kick with a marathon, and not just a marathon but a week-long marathon at that. When i tuned in monday night expecting to see what was gonna happen after they leave the changlings i was so shocked when i saw the first episode again.

Grrr that makes me angry... at least with episodes every day it will only take 2 months to get back to where they were but i still think that it was so stupid of them to do it.

What Star Trek really needs is fresh blood. Fire the people running the franchise now and hire new people. New producers, writers, creative teams, the whole shabang.

I'd also like to see a different style show. Like a regular TV drama but set in the Star Trek universe instead of the random encounter standalone episodes of TNG and VOY. I like what Enterprise is doing this year with the Xindi story arc. A continuing story with the stand alone episodes playing a backup role instead of the other way around.

Ive heard DS9 is more a of a continuing saga type show but ive only seen a few episodes here and there. Which is why i cant wait for the episodes to start airing on Spike. Speaking of which... anyone know if there going to play the whole thing? Are they starting at episode 1 and going all seven seasons or how ever many there were or do they only have the rights for the first season or something?

Im also into Stargate SG-1 and am looking forward to Atlantis and season 8 of SG1. Other than that there really isnt any other SciFi shows out there. Buffy is over already and Angel is a great show but now thats been canceled so there really isnt much to look forward in terms of SciFi TV.

Can someone please explain to me why everyone uses these stupid "Click For Spoiler" links all the time?

It's really annoying to try reading a forum topic and then have to constantly click on these things all the time. Especially since most of the time people don't even use them to post actual spoilers. So far, most of the people i see using it just make regualr posts but they make you clikc the thing anyway.

Example:

Moments ago i was reading the "Thoughts on Strategem", the topic discussion of last nights Enterprise episode. Everyone in the post with spoiler links and i have to ask why? If someone hasnt seen the episode yet there should be no reason for them to go in there, and if you have seen it then theres no reason for spoiler warning.

I could be nitpicking... and i realize im new here but ive been in a lot of internet forums and ive never seen one where "spoiler warnings" were an everyday occurence like this.

As i was watching the episode with the religious fanatics something occured to me.

Im not sure if this has been mentioned so bare with me. I think i could justify the "mistake" of TNG saying they had never met the Ferengi and Enterprise meeting them for the "first" time. In the episode with religious cult the leader erases a good portion of the Enterprise database/logs. So perhaps the Ferengi data is lost and thus that meeting is never entered into the Starfleet records.

Or.... i could just be talking out of my *buttocks* :o

Just something i was thinking about.

I think in terms of overall quality week after week SG-1 is the hands down winner. Enterprise is certainly doing much better this year than the previous years though, and i really enjoyed Proving Grounds last night.

Andromeda is alright if i have nothing to do saturday afternoon i might sit and watch it.
