  1. Two of my websites are hosted by Internet Masters. Both of them have the capabilities of message forums (phpBB installed), chat rooms, and many other options. Cost of registering my domains and their top of the line system is less than $150 per year for both websites.

    Internet Masters

One of my websites is at::

Radio Shack Sucks (which has almost 2000 registered users and has been in operation since Feb 2005.)

Of course, if you want a freebe, remember, you get what you pay for.

  2. so what Im saying is this.. is it wrong for me to try and put some distance between us?

In this case, being wrong or right is only in the eyes of the people involved. There is neither right nor wrong.

If you believe that putting a distance between yourselves would help the situation, go for it.

from what she tells me she says theres no chance well get back together but... Is she just saying that?  Is there a chance?

From your point of view, there's a chance; however, from her point of view, it's almost impossible to tell.

There's the possibility that she feels like not being tied to one person at this time, and wants to sew her "wild oats." What's interesting to note here that usually the roles are reversed. It's usually the guy who doesn't want to be tied down, and the gal does. In a situation like that, let her go. When she needs help, she'll know where to go.

my mind goes a mile a minute  and I wish from the bottom of my heart that I could undo mistakes Ive made..

That's a feeling all of us have had at one time or another. I have been through three marriages, and I know what you're going through.

its funny,  bout a week before we broke up  I hade this epiphany that she was the best thing that ever happened to me and that I should marry this woman...thne the proverbial poop hits the fan .

I have felt the same way many times. I didn't realize that the skinny kid I married 30 years ago was the one for me; but since we've been together for the past 30 years, I finally realized it.

then to make matters worse  she drunken dials me a month after out break up, tonight, and calls to see "how Im doing?"

It could have been out of curiosity, or her conscience is getting to her. If she calls again, be polite and business like. Don't ask or offer information that could lead to more problems for the both of you. Talk about the weather, her health, how her job is, and keep it on a friendly business level. Keep your emotions under control, and you'll do fine.

  3. I think fast food is a leading factor in American obesity.

It's funny that you should mention that in that way. Studies have shown that fast food does not cause obesity. It may contribute to obesity, because of the ingredients used, but it is not a direct cause.

Each individual metastases food differently. This is due to the individual's genes. Metabolism has a huge contributing factor to obesity. Again, it's how the food is stored and used in the body. Unused food is stored as fat, and if it isn't burned off during activity, it stays.

I have a friend that is 100 pounds overweight, and I am 5 pounds underweight. I can eat all of the junk food out there and never gain an ounce. He, on the other hand, has to diet and stay away from junk foods, and he still gains weight. He and I work in the same place, and he is more active than I am. He works out in a gym, I don't.

Blaming fast food on all of the ills of obese people is simply silly. Blaming the individual for being obese is also silly. Some people just can't help it, no matter what they do.

  4. It sounds like a hacker is at work. Get yourself a good firewall, such as the freeware version of Zone Alarm from www.zonelabs.com

Then use a good spyware eliminator, such as Spybot-Search and Destroy or AdAware. Those are, also, freeware, and do a very good job of eliminating trojans and junkware.

A great virus scanner is The Cleaner from www.moosoft.com It is updated on a twice weekly basis, and is a $20 shareware app, with free updates for as long as you want.

  5. The only one I would ever recommend you get is the All In Wonder. ATI has the best on the market. I just upgraded from the All In Wonder Pro 128 to the All In Wonder Radeon 8500. I haven't used any of the record functions yet becasue I'm waiting for a cable that I had to order but I have seen some DVD's that my brother has made with his (he recorded Survivor on his computer then transfered that to a DVD) and it looks great.

Check out EBay when you are ready to buy, I got this one there for $85

bottom line... u can use it like tivo right? i dont have to be home to decide whether to record or not?

The ATI All in Wonder can be used like a TiVO with one thing to remember, make sure you have a big enough hard drive, 80 gigs or better. Video files take up a lot of storage space on your hard drive.

  6. The PC Police strike again! :cops:

What I would like to see is all the computer manufacturers ignoring this moron. Then what would L.A. County do? Get rid of all their computers?

Yup, the PC cops are at it again. What's happening in LA county is that they're renaming everything to "Primary" and "Secondary," instead of getting rid of their computers.

I believe that it is political correctness gone wild. You'll be able to find the whole story on store shelves, next to the "Girls Gone Wild" DVDs.
