That's terrible, it looks as if these women were being used for propaganda purposes. "Hey look! We got the first woman into space!"

But the Mercury 13 program did not win enough political support to continue to completion, she said, and the Soviet Union sent the first woman into space in 1963.

That's quite wrong. I plan to live forever.

Data always referred to Geordi as his best friend. 

 

I see Picard as being a mentor and role model to Data.  They always had a very special relationship, even during the series.  It was Picard that Data would turn to when he had questions or needed advice regarding his quest to be more human.  I've always seen their relationship on par to a wonderful father/son or brothers type of relationship.

I'd agree with that. Anyway, someone can have more than one friend, even if they are an android.

I can't decide.
