    :( i have always liked This Side of Paradise, The Galileo Seven, The City on the Edge of Forever, The Naked Time, Amok Time, A Piece of the Action, Spock's Brain, The Enterprise Incident, Is There In Truth No Beauty?, Plato's Stepchildren, The Way to Eden, and All Our Yesterdays! not in that order of corse but i love alot of tos as you can tell i am obsessed with it. i enjoy the 1s where spock plays alittle out of charactor, like wearing different cloths or smiling or even speaking in a strange way like of love and beauty! i am obesessed, what did i tell you all? :) i am spock crazy! :(

    This probably isn't the first episode that I saw,but it is the first episode that i remember watching.It was the episode "Shore Leave".I watched it because of the big white rabbit,not because it was Star Trek.

    i didnt know what the 1st show i watched was but i 1st watched st tvh and saw spock  :( it was so amazing! he was flawless in his robe! :) i wanted to watch st tos for the rest of my life from than on! :)  spocks mine! *evil laughs* all mine! I GUESS I AM NOT A TREKKIE I AM A SPOCKIE AS MY FRIEND CALLS ME! :(

    Gee, i wonder if that makes me a Data-ie? Too bad that sounds stupid! :(

    :( no it dosent sound stupid! in fact my 1st crush on st was data! :( but spock is my baby boy and i shall always love him! :) 1 day i will have his son! and or leonard nimoys son! well i guess if i had leonard id get spock! well to tell the truth i love leonard not spock! spock is like a side lover! :( i am bloody obsessed! :)

    Was Nurse Chapel a regular character on a par with Uhura and Chekov, or a glorified extra like Guinan and Barclay in TNG?

    :) i think she was a regular. and besides she is one of my faves because she is so much like me.... her loving for spock is what makes us so very much alike! :) i know i am obsessed!

    The first one I remember watching was called The Alternative Factor.

    While orbiting what should be a dead planet, the U.S.S. Enterprise experiences a moment of "nonexistence." Starfleet Command fears an enemy invasion and orders Kirk to find out what caused the stellar system disturbance.

     

    On the planet below, Kirk finds a man called Lazarus, who tells Kirk that the effect was caused by his enemy. Lazarus has been chasing him with the aid of a time/space craft and wants the Enterprise's dilithium crystals to continue his search. The captain refuses.

     

    When Kirk takes Lazarus aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise, it becomes apparent that there is something strange about their visitor. He has incredible mood swings, one minute sane and rational, the next exhibiting violent rage. He also has a bloody head wound that disappears, then reappears moments later.

     

    Lazarus manages to steal the ship's dilithium and return to the planet. Kirk follows and discovers that Lazarus is two people — one sane and one a madman, with one from an anti-matter universe. The sane Lazarus informs Kirk that the beings can only appear in either universe one at a time. Should both men be in the same place at the same time, both universes would be destroyed. Kirk helps the sane Lazarus trap his counterpart in an intermediate time corridor where they can hurt neither the matter nor anti-matter universe, but where the two will be trapped in fight until the end of time.

     

     

     

    I found it very confusing and a bit strange as I was quite young at the time and wasn't interested in Sci-Fi at all.

    hmmm kinda, a fan...especially his work in the movie Labrynth... that, and the song Nature Boy(that was done by him, right??)

    yes it was done by mr bowie sweety(the greatest looking man in the world and greatest singer)! and yes davie was great in labyrinth i have seen the movie over 100 times! :lol: :laugh:

     

    I like David Bowie alot,my favorite albums of his is "Diamond Dogs" and "Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars"

    I recently started reading "Spock's World" The premise looked promising, but so far i'm having a hard time getting into it. I am going to keep going, in hopes the storyline gets a little more interesting and the author veers away from so many needless details about the landscapes on Earth.

    :dude: chronic, i totally agree with you spocks world is boring to start w/ but i will try to get into it more because i love spock so much! i have tried 3 times to get into it but i just cant! :laugh: :laugh:

    I think Dagger of the Mind was a better story... but I personally prefer Devil in the Dark. It was pure fun.

    i like devil because it is 1 of leonard nimoys faves! :angry:

    Do you read the TOS books? What book are you reading now? What is your favorite?

    The Last TOS book I read was "Assignment: Eternity" I had just finished both Greg Cox's "Kahn" novles and enjoyed them so much I wanted to read his first book. I just love the characters of Gary Seven and Roberta. It would have made a good series. I am about to start the TOS  section 31 book.

    yes i read star trek tos books! i am reading spock must die! but yesterdays son is my fav because it has to do w/ spocks son, zar! i could not really get into spocks world! :angry: :angry:
