I don't think it'd be too much of a problem for me if the Television series were to end, because more than I watch the show, I read the books, and those will continue on for ever and ever. (And ever.) If those were to end, though... I'd have go in denial and blow up the earth. :) d

I would take the Scorpion from Nemesis, and just speed around like mad on any planet. :) Wheee!

I think that each unimatrix is its own hierarchy, comparable to that of a royal family. It has drones, adjuncts, and a queen. In a royal family, the family can not continue without a king/queen. Thusly, when the king/queen dies, the primary adjunct takes the place of the king/queen, and so on. Something to support my theory is the fact that the queen was placed in a tactical diamond. This is a weak ship in the general scheme of things, and her ship was surrounded by the more powerful cubes. This shows that it was too risky to put the queen into battle, so other ships fought for her, similar to the royal families. And yes, I am implying that there are several queens; one designated to each unimatrix.

Just saying hello... I'm your friendly neighborhood Borg worshipper, out to better the quality and efficiency of life. Existence as you know it is over. :)

Uhm... I didn't imply that their technological advances altered them into the borg, or that they were advanced. I just think they inadvertantly integrated with organic (natural) nanomachines. The nanomachines' efficient chain of thought may have led to the technological advances rather than the humanoid species' intelligence. But, that's just my theory.

Greetings all; I'm new here, and I'll probably be posting a lot. Anyways, I just wanted to share my theory on the origin of the Borg.
I think they did evolve from a humanoid species. It is a possibility that they were integrated with some form of organic Nanomachines. I do remember one episode in TNG which gave an example of organic nanotechnology. If they took over a humanoid race and altered their way of thinking, it probably would have elevated into supreme efficiency, thusly urging the species to assimilate all in order to become more... err... efficient. Also, the humanoid race didn't need to have too much technology in order to reach the point of assimilation bases and ships; that could have been left to the Nanomachines. :borg: Oh yeah, another thing, I'm obsessed with the Borg. ^___^
Who Should Be In The 11th Movie?

I don't think that'd really work... Beside the fact that the cast of those series might not do it, DS9 isn't a very popular ST series, and Voyager is finished. It would be an interesting concept if done, though.
