  1. So, the last time we saw Wesley Crusher :) , didn't he go off on some metaphysical journey with the traveler to explore the universe, like some kind of supergifted being who could stop time and travel to other galaxies with the power of his mind? So what happened? Did he just happen to hear about Riker and Troi's wedding and materialize for the reception or something? I guess getting into his story would have been a little excessive to go into in Nemesis. Not that I really liked Wesley much anyway, but I would like to know what happened to him. Does anyone have any thoughts on this topic?

  2. I like DS9 and would love to see it on the big screen, but I'm not sure it could stand alone as a movie. I also remember reading somewhere that Avery Brooks was done with star trek, and what would DS9 be without Sisko. I like the idea of a mixed cast and using the DS9 station in a movie, though. Really, any movie would be good and I wouldn't hesitate to go see it, no matter who was in it (unless maybe if Wesley Crusher was the captain of anything....oh god, please no!) :)

  3. You know, I would have to say "no, don't change the theme". Although I don't particularly like that song. Its just too over the top cheese for me. I can appreciate the meaning behind it, but it still makes me laugh sometimes. But, it also somehow fits Enterprise now, and I think I would miss it if they changed it. It always bugs me a little when shows change their intros. It just seems to date the older episodes too much when you go back and watch them.

    :laugh::innocent:

  4. I agree that Tuvok has been the best vulcan character, which has alot to do with Tim Russ' great acting ability. Spock derserves props for being the first, and Leonard Nimoy is also great actor. But I just like Tuvok better. I didn't like T'pol at first, mostly because I didn't think she was a very good actress. It seemed she was cast more for her looks than her acting ability. They needed a sexy character to exploit from time to time (which they do). But I do like the character of T'pol and I think her acting has improved over the two years and will continue to do so along with the rest of the show. I have come to appreciate her. :innocent:

  5. I have seen INS probably 6 or 7 times and it has definately grown on me. I like it more and more every time I see it. The first time I saw it, I liked it, but didn't think it was great. That scene where Riker is in command and they scoop up the gasses or whatever and he's looking all tough and says something about "we're going to ram it down their throats" and that woman sitting there at the helm gives him this sexy look like he's so amazing. Anyway, that bugged me then and still cracks me up a little. Overall, though, its a good movie. In my oppinion, though, First Contact in the best of all the Trek movies.

  6. I have watched most episodes from all 5 series. In college, my roommate had all TOS and TNG episodes on tape and thats when I really got into Star Trek. There have been a few episodes of each series I've missed along the way but mostly I've seen them all. Keep 'em coming, thats what I say.

  7. OK--so the first time that starfleet and the borg were officially introduced was when "Q" sent the enterprise D over to see them. Now we know that Archer also dealt with some borg but that doesn't really count because he didn't know who they were and they weren't able to tell the collective about it.

    So then Captain Janeway "rescues" 7 of 9 from the collective. I don't know how many years exactly this was from when Picard first met the borg through "Q". Ten years maybe. Does anyone know? But then we learn the when Seven was a little "Anaka" (sp?), her parents had left to investigate the borg, and that was like 20 years ealier because I remember Seven saying she spent about that long being raised by the borg. So it just has never exactly made sense to me.

    I know that in that episode where we see Seven's parents getting assimilated, they say something about "chasing sensor ghosts" or something like that when referring to there belief in the borg. But also I remember little Anaka was playing with a model borg cube, so they must have seen one at some point.

    Can anyone staighten this out for me. I love the borg and its always bothered me a little that this all didn't seem to fit together.

  8. Hello everyone. I just joined and wanted to say hello. I have nothing important to say yet but do enjoy discussing star trek topics. This looks to be a good place to do so. I would like to say that I thoroughly enjoy Enterprise and hope that many people here do not bash this show as I've found on some other sites. I thinks its good show and while it could use a little jumpstart (which I think it may get soon) its a good addition to the star trek universe.
