i was watching 24/7 last night and i noticed something strange. they were showing the no way out ppv from 2003 where it was hogan vs rock 2. hogan came out, but to 'real american'. see if anyone knows for sure, but i think back at that time he was still using voodoo child. now i noticed this cuz he came out playin air guitar and he did the chop, at that part of the song. also, when they cut the song off, all of a sudden the fans were chanting hogan hogan. i also think tazz and michael cole dubbed in commentary. funny that this happened. i was also watching an older show when hogan wrestled bossman and the brainbusters wrestled roma and jim powers. arn anderson said wwf twice and they silenced the tape, but in bottom corner of the screen was the old wwf logo. weird.

it never even got a chance. you know, i think vince did ruin wrestling when he bought wcw and ecw. but, then again...he doesnt own tna and that sucks. maybe i'll just watch 24-7 and see good old wcw days. when sting had color and miss elizabeth was alive.

2 questions...who was the fake kane? and why doesnt sandman come out to enter sandman???

kinda cool about scifi having ecw on. if i could switch gears here quick, i think kane should be champion sometime soon. not just because of his movie, which was pretty good, but i just think he'd be a good champion. he only has 1 title run right? with all the younger guys in wwe now, i think they are starting to look past the older guys. but now it looks like taker will be involved with kane again, so that may be interesting.

watched tna show, bubba and dvon spoke out on the reemergence of ecw. they basically said to wwe to leave it buried and dead. then said how can they be extreme when the 2 original extreme wrestlers are in tna? pretty interesting comments, if you caught any of it.

I thought the Foley/Funk promo was excellent. I hope the guys in the back were listening because they just got a lesson in how to do a promo correctly.

I agree that it was the highlight of the show. The rest of RAW was pretty boring. I see that they are slowly bringing up the DX angle. From what I read, the new DX will be just HHH and HBK, no others.

 

I thought that Vince went way over the top at the end holding Shane in his arms and crying like that. You'd think that he never saw anyone hit with a rubber sledgehammer before.........

also, pretty good segment on raw. but i was hoping other ecw guys would come out, but nope. also, was it me or did the fans really not know who or when to boo and cheer?

funny part on tna last night.....nao and 3d were bickering and nao said while they soldut MSG 37 straight times, 3d had problems filling a bingo hall with 350 people. other than that, tna was bland. all it is now is wcw. luger, stiener, buff, sting, jarrett, nash. all they need is hogan. i'm more interested in what kind of shows ecw will put together.

By the way, I thought JBL did a great promo to start off Smackdown. It was just about the only good thing on the program!

random thoughts about the rumble. kinda surprised that cena won the title back. thought edge was a good heel champ. jbl match was bad. i figured he was gonna win though. strange. cool to see tatanka and golddust back. animal needs to go. and mark henry. only one thing i can say....he needs to stop wrestling. hes horrible. cannot carry a match. good thing he wrestled angle. rey winning...i think it was predictable. but i did like how it ended. maybe a b rating.

what was up with sting retiring again? i thought his coming in was gonna change the face of tna forever. it lasted one freakin week. honestly, sting is lame. he was good when he was younger in the early wcw. once he became the crow, that was it. you know, people talk about hogan and hhh having pull and workin when they want to. sting started that. youd wait 2 hours to see him in the rafters, and then you fond out it was nash or whoever. now he comes back, everyone goes nuts, so he quits. good riddance.

I wonder who had the biggest losing record? Steve Lombardy,Barry Horowitz or SD Jones?.............

i'm sure dw95 is looking that up and will let us know.
