If you want to move up the ranks, you probably have what it takes to make that climb! You're creative, assertive, and empathetic. You easily draw groups together and enjoy heading them up. Most promissing, you enjoy bringing out the best in others. You have high expectations of them - possibly higher than they have of themselves - and you're prepared to do what it takes to help them realize that potential. Just be mindful not to let more superficially forceful characters push you out of the way.

  2. I got it last night and the Navy Exchange. Watched it twice already. Love it. I am going through all of the extras as time permits. Since I do not have a job per se Time has been permitting alot. Will write up more as I can pull myself away from the DVD player.

  3. Yes Jim, I am a Petty Officer First Class Information Systems Technician, well at least for another month. MY title while on watch though is CWO (Communication Watch Officer). to confuse people more. I was approtched by the Army to be a communications, computers, and an inteligence CWO, but after they reviewed my Medical records, I was not followed up on. It would be an honor to salute you, bu tyou would have to fly out to San Diego between the 27th of September and the 7th of October to catch me b4 I start my separation leave.

  4. In the real fleet.... a CWO is a sailor who through technical knowledge is advanced to a rank that is actually a bridge between the enlisted ranks and the Officer ranks, They typically enjoy the same benefits as a Master Chief Petty Officer, IE no required to stand duty, even though most do, and treated as an officer, called sir, and Saluted. That is just a brief take from a sailor.

  5. Some background. I am getting out of the Navy soon, and I never really had anyproblems with transferring before but I am getting Deserters Syndrome hard right now. I have never gotten it so bad, but then I have never made as many good frinds as I have here either. Wouldn't you know it. I fit in some one for once in my life and then I am having to leave. It just isn't fair. Has anyone coped with this, and what advise can the give. Please PM me if you have help but do not want to broadcast it on the open forum.

    Thanks,

    Ryan (RP)

  6. My very first memory of watching Star Trek is of being enthralled with Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan when I was very young.

    I agree.

Then I remember watching trouble with tribble with my uncle for hours on end on beta.
