  1. Pierce was always meant to be Bond.

Hair dye can fix the gray and of course he'd shave the beard.

This dude was in Road to Perdition and I hate his character. Scum bag coward he played.

Totally wrong for the part. I give him 3 movies tops before he's gone.

Sounds like you are trying to grasp on to something that has passed.

Pierce is too old, he is an old man now (and he really looks it - even in the last movie where he was very heavily made-up). If you had read the books you would know that 52 is way too old to play Bond - he should be between 28-47 tops.

If you hated this new guy because he played a scumbag in the only movie you have seen him in, then doesn't that make him a good actor? The fact that he has created an emotional response in the audience. Just because he played one role like that does not mean that is how he is going to play Bond.

Anyway, I think a lot of these Pierce groupies will hate the new movie because Bond takes a good kicking in it and there are no gadgets or crappy invisable cars. It is actually a spy thriller!

All the gadgets and gimics in the Pierce Bond movies are what made his films pot-boilers. Nothing in the way of plot needed as long as we can have a new invisable car or make Bond fall faster than a diving plane.

  2. Season One had some of the best ever episodes of any of the Trek shows. City on the Edge of Forever, Errand of Mercy, Space Seed, The Enemy Within...it goes on.

  3. I wouldn't say I "desire" anyone famous and being a guy I prefer girls, but if I had to pick a lady I thought was attractive from Star Trek I would choose (from each show):

TOS: Susan Oliver as Vina (The Cage)

TNG: Ashley Judd as Ensign Robin Lefler (The Game)

    DS9: Nicole deBoer as Dax

    Voyager: Jennifer Lien as Kes

    Enterprise: Jolene Blalock as T'Pol

  4. I started watching TOS from the first episode on (The Man Trap) and never looked back. I believe that I can say that I have watched every episode of every Trek show first run.

Wow you have been there right from the start!!! B) B) B) B)

How would you say that the feel of Trek as a franchise and also the fanbase has changed over the years? I would be really interested to hear your thoughts.

  5. What was your first experience of Star Trek (TOS) and what really got you hooked?

I remember watching the second season of TNG and wanting to learn a bit about the show's history so I rented a copy of What Little Girls are Made Of and have gone on from there. Nice story.

  6. If I was involved creatively on a future Star Trek series or project, I'd get the Borg back on track.

They'd be more dangerous and sinister than ever before and legitimately scary as villains.

Agreed, the Borg lost that a bit didn't they.

    You should write a fanfic!

  7. The Undiscovered Country is a terrific movie with a strong story and superb character development. IMO it's the second best of the Original Series movies, behind The Wrath Of Khan, with a dark and mature tone that DS9 would continue.

    Generations is absolute crap.

Don't say that - Generations is great! I love it so much.

I love the next generation, so much better than the shows that followed>
