  1. This will probably be deleted or closed.

    I don't care.

I'd like to say,it's been great meeting many of you and posting with you,Kor37,Lord Of the Borg,The Unicorn Hunter,Tal Shiar....many more.

I won't be a member of a site that allows a racist to post whatever she likes,no matter how offensive or inflamatory, while "warning" members who try and defend themselves,or their religious preference from a ranting anti-Christian bigot.

If anyone needs to see what I'm referring to,check Qonos...if the threads haven't been deleted yet.

I'll be posting at starwarsfans.net exclusively from here on out.Maybe I'll see you there. At least, that board has effective moderation.

  2. Well, unlike my brother admiral peewee...I actually care about personal hygene

    I brush+floss+mouthwash at least twice a day....sometimes a 3rd time,depending on what I had for lunch.

 (just a joke APW.... )

  3. I'm not really all that crazy about Star Trek ship designs...they all look alike, more or less....2 nacelles,primary/secondary hulls.... :(

I'd like a Mon Calamari battleship from Star Wars.

  4. With all due respect for your political opinions,Validus....I posted the men I would have voted for,and I don't need somebody badgering me about my picks.

I do believe this topic was about who we members here would pick/vote for.Not a place to debate the merits of Republicans/Democrats...Conservatives/liberals.You can do that easily enough elsewhere at this site.

    :(

  5. No offense to Lincoln lovers, but I don't hold "Honest Abe" in very high regard.

Reagan was an excellent choice, and not one that I expected.

As far as I'm concerned,my parents were the "Greatest Americans"...considering where they came from and what they were able to build together...a great family,a home,a successful farm.

But since they weren't nominated,I would have picked Reagan or Billy Graham.

  6. "Lunar Halo"

The rings around the moon that can often be seen....

These are in our atmosphere and are of the same general nature as rainbows. The halos are caused by the refraction of moonlight by thin, icy clouds. The halo making a 22-degree circle around the moon is the most common.Sometimes a 46-degree circle may also form and,if the ice crystals in the clouds are just right, one may see arcs and other effects. These halos are usually colorless, but sometimes they can appear as faint rainbows with the red on the interior.
