  1. I don't think I've watched the original King Kong all the way through. If I have, then it was so long ago that I can't remember. All I can recall is the fact that I didn't like it.

Apparently, Peter Jackson has been wanting to remake King Kong for a long time. Even before he ever started on the Lord of the Rings; even while working on the trilogy, he made his future intentions quite clear. I don't really know why he likes it so much, though. <_<

Judging by the trailer, however, it looks like it will appeal to a general audience, and not only fans of the previous versions of the movie. I don't believe it will matter too much whether or not one decides to see the original before going to see the new remake.

  2. I saw a bit of the old King Kong (the B&W version), and to be honest, I wasn't looking forward to the idea of yet another version being made, even if it was being directed by Peter Jackson. Though, I am feeling more optimistic after seeing the trailer. I noticed a few things that reminded me of Lord of the Rings - I caught a glimpse of something that made me go, "Wait, was that an Orc?" <_<

Hmm, maybe I have a bit of an online quiz-taking problem. <_< Well, it can't be helped. I also make quizzes.

  4. Does that mean you've never seen how it ends?

No, I haven't. But I have a fair idea of how it ends; I've had it spoiled for me. It could be why I am not too enthusiastic about seeing it. <_<

The More you watch Nemesis the more you Like I think, It has a god Charm and tae it for what it is an Action flick "popcorn" Movie, now TMP I trieed to watch it today and ell asleep, that is still #2 to me, Generations was so Disappointing, to have the 2 Captains meet, and have them COOKIN!!!!!!!

Ah... so eventually Nemesis can grow on you, even if you disliked it initially? I can understand that, there are plenty of movies like that. I found the two captains cooking together sort of cute, even if it did have a rather silly feel to it.

  5. I love Tim Burton movies, but I'm not sure Johnny Depp is right for the part. Maybe I just feel that way because I've been seeing him in so many movies lately, and I'm not exactly a fan of his.

I did read somewhere that Johnny Depp has been somewhat inspired by Marilyn Manson when concerning the role, so that could be interesting.

  6. I don't necessarily judge a person by their screen name, though you can sometimes learn a bit about them by it. For example, if someone uses a name based on a character from a video game, you can assume they're a pretty big fan of that video game. Occasionally it can be a way to see if you have anything in common with someone, before actually getting to know them.

Though, if I see a person using the name of a fictional character, I wonder if they ever role-play as that character elsewhere, or if they write fan fiction that primarily features that character. Sometimes I find that they do, but not always, of course.

  7. The writing is one of my favorite things about Star Trek, so yes, it is important to me that a show have a good script. <_< Flat, cliche dialogue could actually ruin a potentially good story, I think.

  8. After seeing each TNG movie, I would think: "This one is definitely my favorite." I have trouble deciding, since I found a lot to like about each one. However, I'd have to say my least favorite is Nemesis; I only got halfway through that one because I was cringing a bit too much at some of the scenes. I enjoyed hearing Data sing at the wedding, though. lol.

  9. While I like Worf, I tend to get bored with the episodes that are centered on Klingons. I was rather disappointed that the second half of The Birthright was concerned mainly with the Klingons, and there were very few glimpses of even the ship. I mean, Part I was comprised of alternating subplots which kept it interesting for me, and Data was just about to start "dreaming" every night. I was sad that it didn't continue into Part II.

  10. I wonder why Spike TV doesn't run the episodes in order? <_< Well, sometimes they do. Maybe they just pick out what they assume are the most popular ones, but that's only my guess. I'm just happy to see that they're going to show some of the episodes from the first season soon; I haven't seen any of them, with the exception of Encounter at Farpoint.
