Also from Unexpected: "I'm the Chief Engineer. I spent years earning that position -- I never had any intention of becoming a workin' mother!"
He had a lot of great lines in Singularity - "bag full 'o cats" was my favorite. I also liked it when Archer says to him, ".... you don't know anything about writing" and Trip comes back with "I'm not the only one!"
One of my all-time fav. Trip lines is also from Fallen Hero: "Rule No. 1: you've got to be seen to get noticed and I plan on gettin' noticed!"
I also loved it in The Bounty (opening scene) when Trip teases Archer:
Trip: I didn't slip! Those rocks gave way the minute I stepped on them.
Archer: I walked on the same rocks you did.
Trip: Well maybe you loosened them... you DO weigh a few kilos more than I do. (With that sly smile.)

I get migraine headaches when it rains, so yuck!
-
First Contact -- I still cheer when Worf says, "Assimilate this!"
-
I gave it a 9. I really enjoy the full-cast episodes. Future Tense was another favorite.

I'm ready to make it a 3-peat!!!! GO PATS!!!!!!

I'm so sorry to hear that. Heartfelt sympathies to his family. There'll never be another one like him. -
I had to go with Offspring, but my first thought was Data's Day. I also loved Hero Worship.
Is the one with Sarjenka on the list? (I don't know the title.) He was wonderful in that one too.

I don't know. I also don't know whether to be glad or not. The Patriot's play some of their best games in snow!
-
It'll be the Patriots -- count on that!
The playoff should be interesting -- if they can play it. It's going to be another Snow Bowl. We're getting a big storm, 1-2 feet of snow with blizzard conditions in southeastern Mass. -- right where Gillette Stadium is. :P

I posted my letter to Les Moonves on the Saveenterprise site and I've gotten some nice compliments on it.

Congratulations Mum!!! :P
I have to say, it's no fun going through life with your name misspelled. It's a pain. You may think it's unique, but at some point in life, you're kid will ask, "Why did you do this to me? My kids are going to be John or Jane so they don't have to go through what I did."
That said, here are a couple of suggestions:
Calla - Greek, meaning "beautiful"
Maeve - Celtic, meaning "joy or joyful"
Jada - Hebrew, meaning "wise"
Gareth - Welsh, meaning "gentle"
Shea - Irish/Gaelic, meaning "majestic, scientific, ingenious one" (good name for a baby trekkie)
I also like Jaden for a boy.
-
Mine does have a story:
If you've seen the Trekkies 2 documentary and remember the woman from Australia singing a slightly naughty parody of Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star in honor of Trip Tucker -- the name of the song is "Darlin' Trip" and I wrote the words. (My name is in the credits. Look for it when John Billingsley is talking.)
I'm "Trip's my guy" on a couple of other boards and "Triptacular" on fanfiction.net
I'm plan to stick with "Darlin Trip" from now on.

To just echo suggestions already made, I would be happy to see anything about history of families that eventually produced future Enterprise crews. For instance Geordi's mother was a captain....was she the first in her family to get into space, or was there a ancestor in Archer's generation that was on a space station or colony? We know, for example, that Picard was the first of his clan to go to space.Anything about families that could be suggested in a casual conversation, or somehow included, even if it was not alluded to in those series, would be interesting.
And I still wish they had done something more with Travis being a space boomer in the first or second season of Star Trek. After season three, he no longer had a unique perspective to contribute...the entire crew became seasoned space veterans now.
I completely agree, mj. I love hearing the family stuff in particular. TNG was very good about that and their "family" episodes were some of the most memorable.
They really blew a golden opportunity by not using Travis's experience more in the first two seasons. It's a shame.

Trip Tucker -- now and forever!
-
Wayne Brady as anyone or anything. He's the greatest.
Jada Pinkett Smith as Travis's sister.
Tommy Lee Jones as Trip's father.
Terri Garr as Trip's mother.
June Lockhart as Archer's mother.
