Wow, I don't think I ever noticed that before.

I'm a windsor knot type myself.

Never really liked the four in hand.

Then again I never really enjoyed ties anyway.

Thank the stars that the Federration did away with ties in the future.

Although I do have a technical / engineering background (I'm an Electronic Engineering Student) I am also a leadership oriented individual.

My choice would be Command, Although I wouldn't mind a turn at Ops or the Helm.

I have never been impressed with ENT. So the thought of losing it doesn`t bother me much, but I would like to see more movies.

Prefferably ones that are a little less hard to swallow than Nemisis.

That having been said, if the new trek were post 23rd Century, then I might be inclined to tune in.

In my case I discovered the link to this site at another board. Since I like Star Trek, I signed up.

I was indifferent, she was never as engaging as Crusher, and she seemed to have a chip on her shoulder about something.

It was like having another Leonard McCoy in sickbay. And no one does McCoy like the late DeForrest Kelly.

So I found her to be place filler. She may have been beter if she had lasted longer, she had little depth or developement.

Keep the old crew, and throw in some crossover between DS9 and Voyager. It would be nice to see what Harry Kim, Seven of Nine, and The DS9 crew were up to.

But i would also like to see the franchise move forward, Peter David's New Frontier series would be a good crossover.

Nic Meyer or Johnathan Frakes are my choice as directors.

Both have already demonstrated the ability to direct Trek, and since Frakes has had more recent experience and closer ties to the current crew.

The whole movie was bad. Poorly written, and the sad attempt to breathe some genuine excitement into the script by killing a main character was hideous.

That having been said, Data was given the out by having B4 discovered, and in my opinion, wasting a quarter of the film time setting up the failsafe for the "climactic" ending.

I think that the only good reason for killing Data, was that as an android, he seemed to be getting a little aged looking, this way if they bring the cast back again, any physical differences can ba explained as belonging solely to B4

I for one hope that they do one more film at least, and manage to replace my faith in the franchise.

B'Etor was the better looking, as well having ample...
