  1. No question about it.

Enterprise is at its best...and Star Trek fans the world over should take immediate notice.

This isn't just good Star Trek or good science fiction. This is superb television...

The two-part Affliction / Divergence episodes are among the best ever shown for any Star Trek series.

  2. While I continue to believe that the fourth - and final - season of Enterprise will go down as the finest, it still won't be "perfect".

Tonight's episode - "The Aenar" is one of those episodes that will likely fuel a lot of debate. There were some good aspects to the show, no doubt, but there were a lot of problems with it as well.

Read a full review on "The Aenar" by clicking through to the link below.

And please, by all means, let me know what you think and if you agree/disagree with my take on this episode.

The Star Trek LCARS Book & Episode Database

  3. Back in June of this year, I launched the 'Star Trek LCARS Book Database' site. A comprehensive Star Trek book site that lists detailed information and cover images on my collection of Star Trek books - with over 1,100 books in all. Since the launch, I've added some functionality and cosmetic changes to the site, including message forums, chat rooms, site search and more.

Now it's time for the biggest change of all. We're now the 'Star Trek LCARS Book & Episode Database' site

I've now added an equally comprehensive and detailed episode guide that covers every Star Trek series episode and movie. Now, in one place, you can obtain information on nearly every Star Trek book and every Star Trek episode/movie in existence.

Similar to the book database format, you'll get detailed information on every episode including full episode synopsis, images, guest star information, star dates, creative staff info and more.

Plus, I will be personally reviewing each and every episode. At this time, all 3 season of TOS have been reviewed along with season #4 of Enterprise, as well as some other episodes and movies. I'll continue to back-fill each series with reviews over the coming months, but I'll be posting a review of Enterprise's latest episode each week.

    And there's still more...

The recent 'Design a Banner' Contest is over - and the winners have been posted. Plus the book database has been updated with 35 more books.

If you haven't checked out the 'Star Trek LCARS Book & Episode Database' lately, there's clearly no time like the present.

    Enjoy...

    -John

  5. Greetings everyone,

Some of you may already be familiar with my site - the Star Trek LCARS Book Database - which launched on June 1st of this year. The site houses detailed information and cover images of my extensive collection of Star Trek books - over 1,100 in all. So since the holiday season is fast approaching, and more Trek books head my way, I've decided to have a little contest.

If you have some artistic flare, or just have a knack for manipulating images, then come join the 1st Annual Star Trek LCARS Book Database Banner Contest. Design a banner for my site using a unique Star Trek theme and you could win $100USD.

Interested? Surf on over to the site for more information ... and good luck!

In addition to the contest, the site has received another update, adding an additional 34 books. I've also incorporated a site-wide search engine that'll help you track down whatever book you're looking for.

As always, thanks for checking it out - and enjoy...

    Thanks,

    John
