  1. Here in the UK we have only just had the first ep of season 3 but i thought it was fantastic I just can't believe how fast time has flown by that we are already on the 3rd season of ENT!! It is mad, because i can still remember when i heard that they were gonna make it and it just seems like yesterday! lol
  2. I am the lone soul who voted for 'Singularity'... i just loved the humour in this ep and i really enjoyed the story...
  3. I love that the characters are not afraid to say what they think, like the number of times they have said something like 'son of a ______' etc... it gives it more edge and passion.
  4. I wouldn't be opposed to a musical ep. I don't think it matters whether ST is supposed to be serious or not. And there is nothing to say that a musical can't be serious anyway, just look at the musical Buffy. There was a hell of a lot of serious undertones in that episode and it was very powerful. Scott B is one of my fave singers, so any decently written way to get him singing on ENT will be fine by me. Maybe they will get stranded on a planet overnight and have themselves a camp fire and sing a few songs...
  5. I would definitely prefer to see more series opt for standalones, mainly because i like to sit down and say 'ooh i'll watch the one where such and such happens' but in an arc it is harder to do that cos all the episodes follow into each other and you might need to watch 3 or 4 just to get the gist or re-aquaint yourself with the arc. Plus it is harder to introduce someone new to a series if a whole season is one big arc. I mean, i am not necessarily opposed to arcs, i like when there is a background arc that is always there but merely touched upon except for the odd special episode... Bakula Bird
  6. precisely. It is a sign of respect, not of military influence.
  7. Oh i just loved hearing that again, i listen to it everyday, but there was something different about hearing it on here, i hope that that is all they do, add some extra lyrics in and maybe change the opening graphics a little if they feel they must change something!!
  8. OH MY GOD! that is so unfair!! lol That was a great article, so interesting... yeah i would love to have seen that pic of his impressive arms... i love him in a tight black tshirt, he wore one of those when he guested on Sliders and he looked so hot in it!!
  9. One of the reasons i still don't think it should be replaced is that that apart from the fact that it is an amazing song that is perfect and wonderful and brilliantly appropriate, it has already been established for 2 seasons and is like a calling card for the show. People hear the music and think 'Enterprise', but if they completely change it the show will lose a part of its identity. If it had been changed between the pilot and the next episode it wouldn't have mattered as it hadn't been around long enough to make its mark on us, but they have left it too long now. It HAS made its mark now and we love the theme (well most of us) and have grown attached to it and its originality. A remix might be acceptable, but a complete over-haul is not.
  10. No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! Sorry, got carried away there! It's just that it's something that i feel very passionate about. ENT is not like the other Star Treks and does not have to have a theme in the same vain as them. Keep it the way it is, i say!!
  11. I'm glad i am not the only one who wants to keep the theme as it is!! I just hope that B+B realise that people do like it, before it's too late
  12. Click for Spoiler: Definitely! He is one of the most skilled and versatile actors on the show, though they are all good in their own right, and if anyone could pull this kind of story off it is him... i am looking forward to it, it is gonna be some heart renching weeks watching that and i definitely fear that i will be reaching for the box of tissues before the end... Now since i read that first post in this thread about Reed, all i have in my head is a sort of comic/camp villain running round in a cape and doing that evil laugh - Muahahahahaaaaa - u know what i mean! I can't shake it off!!! But on a serious level, even if that is true, which i don't think it is, Dom would be able to pull it off as he is a great actor... Roll on season three i say!!
  13. I really really really hope that is a false rumour... it would be foolish to change the theme now after establishing it for 2 seasons, as it has a lot to do with the character of the show and if they were to change it to just to get a few more viewers that is pathetic. If the people who are 'turned off' by the music were worthy of Enterprise they would watch it anyway and just mute the opening credits if they hate it THAT much. I really hope that rumour doesn't come to pass. Changing the images would be ok, as many shows do that just for a bit of refreshment etc but they don't go changing the actual music, especially after it is already well established. The music gives it consistency and personality. AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
  14. Good old 'sunny' Maidstone, Kent, England!
  15. I chose maybe, but it is unlikely as i live in the Uk and that will be one expensive trip... but it is a year away yet so maybe i will be able to save enough by then and make a holiday of it!
