  1. I think it should be time for Robert April to have a series with George Kirk. What do you think.
  2. Considering you were comparing Cindy Sheehan and Edith Keeler but request there be no discussion of the war in Iraq, it was pretty difficult to respond to your post. Perhaps you should consider a new thread in Qo'noS which allows for the discussion of the subject of their respective anti-war movements in full. 354705[/snapback] OK I see your point. I will think about this more and try to word imy posts in a better way. Mod note: fixed code.
  3. I can think of 2 songs by PETA suporter Paul McCartney : "Wildlife" (from the Wings CD "Wildlife") While take a walk thru an African park one day, I saw a sign say, "The animals have the right of way". Wild life, whatever happened to, Wild life, the animals in the zoo? We're breathing a lot, a lot of political nonsense in the air. You're making it hard for the people who live in there. You're moving so fast, but, baby, you know not where. Wild life, (wild life), what's gonna happen to Wild life, (wild life), the animals in the zoo? You'd better stop, there's animals ev'rywhere, And man is the top, an animal too, And, man, you just got to care. Wild life, what's gonna happen to, Wild life, the animals in the zoo? You're breathing a lot of polical nonsense in the air. Wild life, (wild life), what's gonna happen to (what's gonna happen to) (what's gonna happen to) Wild life, (wild life), the animals in the zoo? (what's gonna happen to) (what's gonna happen to) Wild life, what ever happened to? What ever happened to? "Looking For Changes" (from the McCartney CD "Off The Ground" I Saw A Cat With A Machine In His Brain The Man Who Fed Him Said He Didn't Feel Any Pain I'd Like To See That Man Take Out That Machine And Stick It In His Own Brain You Know What I Mean I Saw A Rabbit With Its Eyes Full Of Tears The Lab That Owned Her Had Been Doing It For Years Why Don't We Make Them Pay For Every Last Eye That Couldn't Cry Its Own Tears Do You Kmow What I Mean When I Tell You That We'll All Be Looking For Changes Changes In The Way We Treat Our Fellow Creatures And We Will Learn How To Grow Well I Tell You That We'll All Be Looking For Changes Changes In The Way We Treat Our Fellow Creatures And We Will Learn How To Grow When We're Looking For Changes I Saw A Monkey That Was Learning To Choke A Guy Beside Him Gave Him Cigarettes To Smoke And Everytime That Monkey Started To Cough The Bastard Laughed His Head Off Do You Know What I Mean When I Tell You That We'll All Be Looking For Changes Changes In The Way We Treat Our Fellow Creatures And We Will Learn How To Grow When We're Looking For Changes We're Looking For Changes We're Looking For Changes
  4. never mind i guess it isn't as interesting as what your watching right now
  5. I love them both, Altho I discovered Star Trek several years before Python. I saw the title in the TV Guide and thought it was going to be an actual circus. It took a while to really understand what was actually going on but when I did you couldn'tkeep me away from it. One of the benefits I gained from Python was educational. They were constantly making so many refrences to History, Philosophy, Art that i had to do alot of research just so i could understand most of the jokes. :) It would have been great if one (or all) of the pythons had appeared on one of the Trek series. Cleese would have made a great alien (I believe he may have been on a Dr. Who episode).
  6. HERBERTS!!!!!
  7. they should have Shatner (as was rumored) Click For Spoiler not Sirtis and Frakes.
  8. I too was also a pre-TNG trekkie (since the early 70's) and was originaly excited about ENTERPRISE before it aired. I thought it was a great opportunity to bridge the gap toward TOS by meeting the same TOS aliens etc. Altho I have always liked the show most of the series let me down as far as that was concerned. However this season has been fantastic. I can't wait for the Klingon Episode tonight and I'm really excited about the "Mirror" story arc (especially Hoshi as the Capt's woman) and now it's going to end Better to have had enterprise for 4 seasons and loose it than never to have had it at all. :P
  9. IRON MAIDEN!!!!!
  10. A blues compilation by the The Allman Brothers Band.
  11. The Turbolift did not have windows. they were lights to indicate the direction it was going. up or down or sideways.
  12. Only the SlOOOOOOW romantic kind.
  13. So there, I am, in Sri Lanka, formerly Ceylon, at about 3 o'clock in the morning, looking for one thousand brown M&Ms to fill a brandy glass, or Ozzy wouldn't go on stage that night. So, Jeff Beck pops his head 'round the door, and mentions there's a little sweets shop on the edge of town. So - we go. And - it's closed. So there's me, and Keith Moon, and David Crosby, breaking into that little sweets shop, eh. Well, instead of a guard dog, they've got this bloody great big bengal tiger. I managed to take out the tiger with a can of mace, but the shopkeeper and his son... that's a different story altogether. I had to beat them to death with their own shoes. Nasty business, really, but sure enough I got the M&Ms, and Ozzy went on stage and did a great show.
  14. Where do I start? I,m not as good a friend to my friends as I should be. I agree to things and back out most of the time because I'm lazy or want to keep drinking. I'm paranoid and a self concious loner but am not above being confontational when I feel I've been wronged. I'm also a passive agressive, anal retentive Karaoke singer who's parents used to play Broadway cast albums to drown out their love making.
  15. In this point in history Star fleet does not exsist yet. You're confusing the Federation with Starfleet. No date for Starfleet's creation has ever been given. Oopps! My mistake.
