SeeingEyeBorg 0 Posted January 8, 2008 (edited) What would happen if the Borg assimilated the Jem'Hadar? I mean, because of their innate addiction to ketracel white (thus their fragile metabolism), would that make the Jem'Hadar an undesirable species to assimilate? Would they "detract from perfection"? <_< Edited January 9, 2008 by SeeingEyeBorg
Kor37 9 Posted January 8, 2008 Borg junkies? Interesting idea.........
Gummy 0 Posted January 9, 2008 I think that the Borg would view the Jem'Hadar as a threat and destroy them.

Dabo Queen 0 Posted January 10, 2008 (edited) Now I'm just picturing a bunch of crack addict Borg, sitting around twitching in their cube, getting their catch phrases all mucked up with those of the Jem' Hadar. "Victory is futile." Edited January 10, 2008 by Dabo Queen

VaBeachGuy 12 Posted January 31, 2008 I think the Borg would have eliminated the need for the white with implants.
Captain Armstrong 0 Posted February 10, 2008 I think the Borg nanoprobes would most likely cure the Jem'Hadar of their addiction. As for a fight, wow that'd really be something. Being closer to Borg space than the Federation, I would assume the Dominion has had run-ins with the Borg. Too bad we never heard of any specific incidents. <_<
SeeingEyeBorg 0 Posted February 12, 2008 I think the Borg would have eliminated the need for the white with implants. Genetic resequencing, maybe? I figured as much.
ddillard 2 Posted February 22, 2008 Well, from Voyager we do know that some Jem'Hadar have been assimilated. They were present in unimatrix

4456456 0 Posted March 9, 2008 JemHadar borg would adapt
TJ Phaserman 2 Posted March 10, 2008 i think they'd do more than adapt. they'd probably just become the perfect killing machine.
SeeingEyeBorg 0 Posted March 11, 2008 Hmmm...I was so certain their fragile metabolisms would work against them.
Itchygomba69 0 Posted March 11, 2008 The Borg are more of a threat and I think would overpower any an all Jem'Hadar due to their addiction to the drug....remember when they couldnt get their hands on it, showed how weak they really are, The Borg are way more superior
TJ Phaserman 2 Posted March 11, 2008 you forget that the borg are masters in genetic manipulation, they fix the jem'hedar to be "perfect." actually a bit more than perfect. but with some flaws.

TJ Phaserman 2 Posted March 13, 2008 hey every borg has a weakness if it's near perfect. you just have to exploit it.

Wishfire 2 Posted April 14, 2008 To quote myself from another topic... I doubt assimilated Jem'Hadar would need Ketracel White. While the Jem'Hadar are genetically engineered to need it, the Borg are known to use genetic manipulation to alter drones, both for specific uses and for drone standardization. A little genetic manipulation, and the White is no longer needed.
