Theunicornhunter 2 Posted September 12, 2007 (edited) Yep, you read it correctly - there is a science to this apparently.. foxnews Partial quote of the article: Whether women are said to be flat-chested or big-busted, ordinary bras fall short when it comes to supporting bouncing breasts, a new study claims. The study also found that during exercise, women's breasts bounce more than previously estimated, moving a vertical distance of up to around eight inches (21 centimeters) compared with a past maximum measurement of six inches (16 centimeters). During the exercise, Scurr took biomechanical measurements, including the amount of breast movement in three directions: up-and-down, side-to-side and in-and-out. In and out?? Do you ever wonder who thinks up the "studies" that get carried out - not that a better bra isn't worth every research penny. He Who Shall Not Be Named 2 Posted September 12, 2007 Well if bras don't do the job why wear them at all?
MrPsychic 1 Posted September 12, 2007 Exactly Van Roy. I offer my support for helping all the women out there. Oh, and I'll do it for free too ladies.
Ezri T 0 Posted September 12, 2007 There are bras and there are sports bras. Some reason I have a feeling this study has a number of errors. Sure, a woman can get a very cheap bra and use it to jog and run around. That is their problem not mine. With the study that says their is not a difference with a flat chest and a large chested woman, that is just wrong. Would love to find a woman in a AA cup that can sway their breasts 8 inches. Sure, if you find a woman in a E cup or some that is bigger than that 8 inches would be no problem. Would have to question this study, or, someone is just cherry picking the report as I read it. Kor37 9 Posted September 12, 2007 VanRoy, Mr.Psychic and I would be happy to verify the results of the study by doing a study of our own........
Krissy Phaserman 0 Posted September 20, 2007 Well if bras don't do the job why wear them at all? Because it's what women are trained to do. Also, alot of women wear bras that don't fit right, with also reduces a bra's effectiveness. Personally, when I go out and exercise I wear a sports bra, but it doesn't keep them from moving around a bit. And before Van and Psy ask, NO, I do not have a video of me jogging. Not gonna happen. :)

Theunicornhunter 2 Posted September 20, 2007 Well if bras don't do the job why wear them at all? Because they do a better job that jogging braless would. You should just get an athletic and not daily wear for running. Maybe this research will actually help develop a better product.
