Vic 17 Posted May 10, 2007 Dilbert spends much of his life in a cubicle, battling the insanities of working for the pointy-haired boss. He once tried his hand at telecommuting, as seen in these strips. His creator, Scott Adams, works at home, although he too once had a corporate job. </img> http://rss.cnn.com/~r/rss/cnn_topstories/~...1374/index.html

trekz 7 Posted May 10, 2007 I think working at home would be challenging for me, since I can easily get distracted. Also the eating issue that is brought up in the article would definitely be a problem for me. I'd be "grazing" for snacks all day.
Kor37 9 Posted May 10, 2007 I do most of my work at home. I got to my warehouse for maybe 3 hours a night and then come home for the rest of the day.
Theunicornhunter 2 Posted May 27, 2007 trekz, a lot of office workers graze throughout the day. I can see why you can't do that in a library. The person who sits in the cubicle behind the partition from me eats all day and not the discrete chips, soda etc. - no stuff that smells up the entire office. I think microwave popcorn should be banned from offices. Several people in my office work two or three days a week at home but, alas, my position isn't suited for that - I have to do face time with clients. I think I could do it but only a couple of days a week.
