Best female characters

Hi All! It's been a very long time since I've been here! I had to vote for Torres first and Janeway 2nd. I wish there would have been a third pick because it would have been Seven!

I think that the best woman is Seven of Nine, because her character is very important and difficult to play. I wish to see her in order to have her autograph, but she doesn't come to the conventions, I don't know why.

I participated to the last convention at Las Vegas, that was wonderful and huge!!

In terms of development and depth, Kira Nerys is the best female Star Trek character.

 

On VOY, it's Seven Of Nine. Janeway second.

Today I have thought that I could write a list of the best female characters:

1. seven of nine

2. t'pol

3. deanna troi

Seven of Nine is clear, and Kes in second looks to be strange as she was replaced. Janeway was fine, but not a major character because she was way to refine. Torres, even that she was on the show all seven years, became a minor character after her temper was gone. And when she did become a strong character, it was her temper. Problems, when a character is so shallow. WIth Janeway, to refine and understood and that made her shallow also.

Janeway all the way! Followed by Tores and Seven. Never got into Seska and thought the Kes character was really, really weak. I think it was mostly the writing for the character cause Jennifer Lien seems like she did a good job with what she was given to work with. I've even heard rumors that's why she was replaced--because she wanted more for Kes than she was given. But, in the end, who knows for sure, eh?

B'Elanna Torres, then Kathryn Janeway. Samantha, Seska, BQ, and to some degree Naomi, are too much of bit players to factor in. Seven's a distant third, and I despised Kes.

My opinion of the best female character from Voyager would have to be Kes first and secondly a toss up between Seska and Janeway.

I went with Janeway, despite the times I shouted at my t.v. set and wanted to strangle her. My second pick was for Kes, simply because she was so darned cute.

I'm a little surpised that neither Uhura or Tasha got much love here...

 

They were groundbreaking characters for thier day and helped open the door for the Janeways (1st woman Cptn. to follow).
