voyagerboy 0 Posted March 8, 2003 i'm really wondering about star trek. So many stations around the world are taking them ALL off the air (including mine) with that problem and Paramounts financial problems due you think enter prise will survive? ANYONE WHO READS THIS GIVE YOUR OPINION THAT WAY WE CAN ALL COMPARE THOUGHTS.
A l t e r E g o 9 Posted March 9, 2003 I am pretty sure the problems with the stations you mention are just that, problems with the stations. Enterprise will be ok, one way or another it will go on, I hope. No really, I am confident! I think. Enterprise must continue... PLEASE!
removed 0 Posted March 11, 2003 enterprise needs to be given a chance to shine. once it picks up, as all trek series' do after a few seasons, i'm sure stations will want it again. i think cbs should pick up enterprise. it is a respected and a well run station. also fox did well with ds9
Celtic_Swimmer 0 Posted March 11, 2003 It has to Survive.. its telling us how the Federation and everything came around!!n plus i have to watch it!! -Laur

poguemahone 0 Posted March 11, 2003 I kinda think Ent will end with the formation and we won't actully see it, cuse we already see what happens after it's formed. I predict the last scene of Ent is going to be on the Bridge of a badly damged NX-01, with a Vulcan escort back to Earth after the last heavy battle with the Romulans, T'Pol leaves for Vulcan when they get back to Earth and the rest of the crew excluding the doctor who left with T'Pol, Archer plunks down in his chair with sparks and pieces falling around him, and Trip and Reed just just look at each other, cut to an external shot of the ship we see the Ent in Earths orbit, the Vulcan ship un docks and flys off, then the end credits roll and thats it, with 2-3 movies. A l t e r E g o 9 Posted March 11, 2003 That is cool pogue. For me, the end of this series had better be a launching pad for a trilogy (at least) of films that are not put together willy-nilly but are carefully crafted masterpieces. If they can do that, I would probably consider my appetite for ENT appeased, and could begin looking forward to the next project on the horizon.
Celtic_Swimmer 0 Posted March 11, 2003 Hey Guys they haven't announced any thing about the show stopping.. so just continue to think of continuing plot lines and not how it ends *Knock on Wood* just believe it will stay on and be a true trek fan.. it WILL stay on.. -Laur
VaBeachGuy 12 Posted March 11, 2003 They're not going to cancel it, it'll continue through it's run of 7 seasons.

The key for the films sucesses is in the PLANNING PLANNING! PLANNING! If they focus on the planning and composure of the films, they could become the Trek box-office smashes of all time! voyagerboy 0 Posted March 18, 2003 Either way I don't really care. But they have given hints of financial problems. Paramount even addressed them on the news.

A l t e r E g o 9 Posted March 23, 2003 My Dad hates ENT, he says they are making big mistakes well, you know all of the complaints so I will skip to the meat. Yesterday our family spent the day over at my folks house and as luck would have it, my tape collection of this season's ENT found it's way along with us We started with Shockwave and watched/argued our way through every episode and by the time we reached Canamar guess what? He finally listened A former ENT basher has been converted into a new ENT fan. While there are still issues we both agree hold room for improvements, I was successful in putting down many of his perceived problems with ENT! and he promise's to watch ENT with a more friendly attitude in the future! One down, 10 million to go!

A l t e r E g o 9 Posted April 2, 2003 LOL I never noticed that, your right! If what Berman has been saying is true about ENT's "New Direction", then he has gotten the message and soon many Trek fans will be climbing back onto the bandwagon. I can wait, I have been sad not having lots of people to gush about it with.
cptwright 1 Posted April 2, 2003 ENTERPRISE will last, it has too, its a good show, with many different angles. due to the fact it is the begining of the STAR TREK era. as far as paramount net. goes they need to get more and more good programing, i liked SU2 (special unit 2) that was a good show, then boom its gone, now alls i watch on paramount is ENT. but im sure ENT will go on through its rightful seasons. if any of you recall BABYLON 5, it had its rocky roads, went through a few network changes, but finally made it to its rightful end, so will ENTERRISE.
ensign_beedrill 0 Posted April 3, 2003 I think it will continue. I guess they have problems and such, but they still need to work things out. I mean, it's only been around for less than two years. This is something before TOS, something these folks have never tried before. I say we should give them at least some room. You know how it is when you try something new. You're not so good at it at first. But then, after a while, after practice, you get better and you can even get to be an expert. Just give them time. The original Star Trek was canceled after just three seasons. I think that was a shame. And it would be a shame if they canceled Enterprise. Lots of people didn't really like TNG when it first started, right? I think it was probably the people who were loyal to the original series and couldn't stand the thought of another Trek. But TNG took off, continued for seven seasons, and inspired two spinoffs that each went on for seven seasons. I think that if Enterprise is given a chance, like the others, it will become better, (not to say that it isn't good already, because it is ^-^; and it will take its place in Trek history along with the rest.
