The Two Towers will be released on DVD this month, but the extended version doesn't come out till November. I made the mistake of buying the original release of The Fellowship, and then later having to spend more money on the extended version. I'm waiting this time. I'll rent the short version. :P

I'll spend more renting it than I will buying it! So I'll buy the DVD, watch it innumerable times, waiting for the extended to come out, then sell the original - that plan worked all right for me last year!

Why cant it come out nowwwwww???!!!??? I dont want to wait, Iloved the books, and adored the first two movies, I want to see this one. I think my mother is waiting for the extended one this time ariound. We too got the first version then spent on the extended version...aaaarrrggghh, we have to wait for that tooo, this stinks!

I can't wait either!! I jumped the gun last time and got the first version too but I decided it was enough. The longer version came on the Starz channel recently.
